I suppose one doesn’t wish happiness or good luck on Halloween, so curses! (and a few hexes!) on all of ye!  This year it was uncharacteristically warm.  No snow, no parkas, no hot chocolate after the rounds and it was also a little slow.  Not sure what it is about our new house, but we didn’t see a lot of traffic.  By the time I was ready to shut down the lights, we still had a lot of treats left.  So I sort of let the neighbor kid go wild in the candy bowl when he and a couple buddies showed up about 8:45pm.

Oh well, maybe next year.  Grace and Erin’s taste in costumes is evolving.  No more cute critters and such for them.  Supernatural all the way, baby!

Potentially, this is Erin’s first written attempt at a full sentence.  It’s spelled phonetically, so if you look closely, it makes sense.

Original Phrase: ILIK. CHELTRSIUMVRREHAPETOBEACHELTRSOSVRRESRLEILIKCHELTRSSO. MHCH

Translation: I like cheerleaders.  I’m very happy to be a cheerleader.  So very.  I like cheerleaders so much.

Not too bad for 1st semester kindergarten.

Flying Grace

I love to skateboard. Even though I crash and almost break bones I still love to do my skateboard.  I have a pro size skateboard.  My skateboard is very fun to ride.  I ride it every single day unless it is too cold or snowing.  I am learning new tricks.  Someday I want to compete in the X Games.  I don’t know if I want to do the snowboard or skateboard.  I don’t know if there is girl skateboarding in the X Games.  I love to watch the X Games skateboarding.  I usually watch it.  I like the Flying Tomato and Tony Hawk.  

I hope you liked reading this blog page.  My dad made me do it tonight.

After years of procrastinating, I finally registered the rockymtnfuller.com domain.  Following minutes of painstaking research, I selected the WordPress one-click install from the list of apps GoDaddy.com (my long time provider) has available with its hosting packages.  For those familiar with openkimono.wordpress.com, WordPress is an application that allows quick and easy creation of a blog and supporting web pages.

This site is the latest in a long line of flubs and fizzles.  Originally, we had a site on Tripod that they turned down when we didn’t add content over an extended period.  Then we did the MSN Spaces thing and I got too busy to actively maintain it plus it was sort of a pain to work within MSN’s system.  Next, I tossed up a very private site hiding behind my company’s web page to provide info about a family reunion, but that too was doomed from the start (I’m the only one in the house that can fake HTML).

So… here we are… with our latest attempt.  The plan of record is for all of us to contribute to the site from time to time: Dave, Julie, Grace, Erin, maybe Sam the Dog and potentially other Fuller’s qualifying for the Rocky Mountain moniker such as Kris, Scott and Denise.  I hope you enjoy it.  Come back to visit us soon and be sure to add our RSS feed (hopefully I figure out how to turn that on pretty quick).
